We're not too sure either.
Quake Stuff
First person Free for All
Included in the list of projects:
A TC based on (ahem) Space Monsters vs. Not Prey(vs. Space Marines). The real game won't run on James's computer, so he's redoing it from scratch as a Quake TC.

Clone and Conquer
Says Fesh:

"I'm shooting for a command-and-conquer-esque thing at the moment, with the human players floating around as observercams telling bots what to do. I'm not sure how to start though. I'd love to sit down with the guys that did quake battle chess, although that's really not what I'm trying to do either. Just tell them that I'm trying to get a command-and-conquer style game using the quake creatures as units and you'll give them the essence of what I'm trying to do. Also tell them that any hints and tips from established TC writers would be greatly appreciated. As in worshipping the ground they walk on, burning incense sticks in their honor, etc... Especially as far as which of the Id files are useful, which are garbage, and what things are absolutely required by the quake engine."
If you think you can help him out, send him some mail.
